There’s a lot to love this February in the Orlando real estate market. If you are a home seller or thinking of selling a home, you will reap the benefits of the seller’s market we have been experiencing for the last few years. The historically low inventory has caused the prices to rise over 12% since the time last year.

The real estate stats from Orlando Regional Realtor Association come out on the 15th of the month and are a final recap for the previous month. We ended January with only a slight increase in interest rates keeping us in the historically low rates and ONLY 1.5 months of available homes for sale. The low rates drives demand with many buyers in the market looking at a very small pool of available listings.

If you are like many people you feel a bit stuck. You want to make a move and take advantage of the high price for your current home and low rates for the next one. BUT where will you go if your home sells?

We have good news to help you with this dilemma! Our team owner Kathryn Stelljes has become a Knock Certified agent. Knock Home Swap™ is a program which allows you to buy first and use a 0 percent interest bridge loan for your down payment. This gives you the competitive advantage to find the right home first without a contingent offer and then worry about selling after you move!

Thinking of making a move in 2021? We are always adding tools to our arsenal to provide you the best experience. We are a certified Keller Offers iBuyer Agent which allows us to provide cash offers for your home and a certified Knock Home Swap™ agent to allow you flexibility and options! We expect the real estate market in 2021 to continue to remain strong until there is some shift in available inventory or if the rates rise. Watch our monthly market update video for even more insights into what is on the horizon.
